Can anyone speak to the issue of foreclosures in Spokane, Washington? Foreclosures are up around the country due to the sub-prime lending practices. Is there any foreclosure impact on real estate in Spokane?

Spokane has one of the lowest rates of foreclosures in the entire State of Washington and even the five Western States. Most foreclosures are found on the Multiple Listing Service which can be accessed through mtkeller36@hotmail.com or by completing a questionnaire on line at www.MichaelKellerRealty.com One other place is at the court house where you need cash in one pocket and a certified check while the Sheriff’s sale is progressing. You better know the history/background of the house you want to bid on. Forget the $50K houses…gone 4 years ago. You get what you pay for in almost all situations.
